Back Neil Shah Managing Director – Capital Markets & Head of Product Strategy | Portfolio Manager – Forum Real Estate Income Fund Neil brings more than 12 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, with a focus on CMBS and multifamily credit including Freddie Mac K Series, Fannie Mae DUS, Ginnie Mae project loans, and multifamily credit risk transfer programs including Freddie Mac MSCR, Fannie Mae MCAS, and non-agency structures. As Managing Director – Capital Markets & Head of Product Strategy, Neil leads the firm’s product strategy—aligning offerings with market opportunities, client needs, and the firm’s long-term vision. In addition, as Neil serves as Portfolio Manager of the Forum Real Estate Income Fund, where he oversees investment selection and portfolio management for the firm’s real estate debt strategy. Prior to joining Forum, Neil was Director of Capital Markets & Trading at Systima Capital Management and held prior roles at Greystone and Goldman Sachs. Neil holds bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics, Economics and Finance from Indiana University and a Master of Science in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
