Kara Vartanian

Kara brings more than 20 years of multifamily operations and asset management leadership experience to Forum. As Director – Asset Management, she is responsible for operational oversight, performance governance, and property management execution across Forum’s real estate equity portfolio.

Prior to joining Forum, Kara served as Vice President of Operations at Bell Partners, where she oversaw an 18-property, 6,133-unit institutional portfolio. She led full P&L oversight, revenue strategy, and organizational development across multi-market assets, partnering with ownership groups on acquisitions, dispositions, and platform growth. Before that, she held a Regional Manager role at Echelon Property Group and spent nearly 18 years at Equity Residential, advancing from site-level roles to Regional Manager overseeing 3,400 units.

Kara completed coursework in Business Management at Colorado State University Global and is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) candidate through Institute of Real Estate Management. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Kara prioritizes time with her family, enjoys travel and paddleboarding.
