Edie brings more than 24 years of legal experience and expertise to Forum in the areas of real estate, commercial development, and corporate transactions. Edie has in-depth knowledge of sophisticated real estate transactions and extensive experience in representing developers, real estate investors, telecommunication providers, property managers, landlords, and tenants in such real estate transactions throughout the U.S. As Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel, Edie is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Forum and its direct real estate businesses, specifically focusing on real estate transactions including development, acquisition, disposition, and financing of multifamily properties.

Prior to joining Forum, Edie was co-founder and partner of Fisher & Suhr P.C., a Denver-based law firm specializing in commercial real estate transactions. Before that, she was a shareholder at Fisher, Sweetbaum, and Levin & Sands. Prior to her law career, Edie worked for Nichimen America Inc., one of the largest international trade companies in the world.

Edie holds a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola Marymount University and a Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law. She has been given an “A-V” rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating available for legal ability and ethical standards and has been included in the Colorado Super Lawyers® list in real estate (a designation given to the top 5% of attorneys in Colorado based on peer recognition and professional achievement). Outside of work, Edie enjoys spending her free time with her husband and teenage daughter.
