Austin Vautrain

Austin brings more than 6 years of experience in real estate tax planning, preparation, and reporting to Forum. As Associate Director – Tax, Austin is responsible for a variety of tax-related accounting tasks and is principally responsible for ensuring consistency of tax compliance across the portfolio of Forum entities.

Prior to joining Forum, Austin was Tax Senior Associate – Compliance at Fundrise. Before that, he served as Internal Revenue Agent, Large Business and International Division with the Internal Revenue Service and held other senior associate roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Dallas and Denver.

Austin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and a Master of Financial Management from Texas A&M. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (Texas). Outside of work, Austin enjoys skiing, hiking, running, and reading.
