Joe Chickey

Joe brings more than 25 years of broad, institutional investment experience as a fiduciary in real estate and other alternative asset classes, including extensive experience in capital structure executions in the real estate debt markets. As Managing Director – Portfolio Manager, Joe leads a team of investment professionals responsible for sourcing, underwriting, negotiating, and closing investments across the capital stack – including subordinated debt and equity investments – on behalf of Forum’s private credit strategy.

Prior to joining Forum, Joe spent 10 years at EverWest Real Estate Investors, where he was a senior member of the Structured Finance platform. He also held positions at CIBC World Markets, Amaranth (UK) Limited, and Permira Debt Managers (UK) Limited.

Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Business Administration from the University of Louisville. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two children and guiding horse pack trips in the Colorado backcountry.
